SO much new stuff

I have been using the Tim Holtz alcohol inks and I love them.  They work on non-porous surfaces (like dominos) and they are awesome!!! little tip-get the little tim holtz tool but then buy sheets of plain white felt and cut your own squares.  It only takes a few drops of each ink and then you just dab it all over until you have blended it into something you like.  I will be posting some pics soon.  You can use it on tins, glass, acrylic, transparency, or whatever you can think up!

woo hoo I am a student...again

I am in fashion design school (finally) and I am loving it so far!  I am working on a few designs for a runway show in May and I am trying to build my portfolio so I can get a cool gig during Fashion Week.  I am also trying to ramp up my Bella & Bruiser site on etsy.  I think I have more than a few sleepless nights in my future...woo hoo

Yo Gabba Gabba ROCKS!

My kids LOVE Yo Gabba Gabba and our christmas was loaded up with awesome Gabba swag but here are a few things that didnt make it under our tree and they are impossible to find.  Thanks Amazon!

woohoo only 363 days til christmas

I never get everything done that I intended before christmas strikes...well now I have 363 days to get the jump on christmas!  I enjoy scrapbooking and I have found several sites that are one day deal based for scrapbookers.  peachycheap.com cropchocolate.com and flowerstoflourishes.com if you are a scrapbooker or paper crafter you must bookmark these and check them everyday when you check your e-mail!  you wont be sorry.

branching out...maybe

So i was given the advice that I should hire a few people to help me sew...i love sewing but now that i sorta have a formula for a few key pieces maybe it is time for a little help.  I have been thinking about teaching some classes on different craft areas like crochet, sewing, and paper crafts...but would people really wanna take my classes?  sometimes I feel like I need those blinders that horses wear so I can narrow my focus.  I think I am to easily distracted by glittery things in my periferal vision.  I love glittery things!

the crazies

I am running on crazy right now!  There is no time to do the things I wanna do...to much to sew, crochet, scrapbook, and wrap...oh yeah and I still have a ton of shopping to get done.  Enough complaining...I think I am gonna try to make vests for the boys to wear for Christmas and I will make boo a matching skirt.  I want to get the craft room finished ASAP so I can get the living room put together for Christmas...do you ever really "finish" moving in?  We moved in May and I am still unpacking and moving and rearranging.  I swore I wasn't going to be one of those people that have moving boxes in their house a year after they moved but I totally am that person.  blah!
